BMW is in a plan to release its next generation 1 Series model in between September 2010 and March 2011 as a 2012 model vehicle. The new model will use efficient dynamics technology and new engines as standard in all the versions.
2012 BMW 1 Series
Though much information about the 2012 BMW 1 series model is not available, it is expected that the luxury model will offer various engines and body styles. The 2012 model comes with improved styles and features. The hatchback model will hit the market first and later the coupe versions.
Engine
The 2012 BMW 1 Series model comes equipped with the most powerful engine that produces more power when compared with the previous version. The standard comfort and convenience features to be equipped in the car include leather upholstery, air conditioning with automatic climate control, navigation system with real time traffic updates and weather information, XM satellite radio, and audio system. When compared with the previous 1 Series model, the next generation model cost will be high.
Safety Features
The 2012 BMW 1 Series will be equipped with the most advanced safety features like four wheel disc brakes, electronic stability control, traction control, rear view camera, driver side air bags, and antilock braking system.
