Mechanical Specs

The new 2010 1-series has been released in 2-main trim levels namely: 128i and 135i. The base 128i model is equipped with a standard 3.0 litre 6-cylinder engine that can produce an output power of 230 horsepower and torque of around 200 lb-feet.

The 135i model is featured with a standard 3.0 litre inline 6-cylinder power-train, which delivers an output power of around 300 hp and torque of 300 lb-feet. A standard 6-speed manual and an optional 6-speed auto transmission system deliver the engine power to the wheels.

Performance Features

The 128i trim requires 5.9 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour, while the 135i model can achieve the same speed in just 5.1 seconds. The EPA rated fuel mileage of the 2010 one series BMW model is 18 miles per gallon in the city limits and 28 miles per gallon on the highways.
